Buducnost VOLI Podgorica added size and athleticism to its frontcourt by signing power forward Jacob Wiley, the club announced on Monday.

Wiley (2.02 meters, 26 years old) split time between Spanish sides Herbalife Gran Canaria and Casademont Zaragoza last season. Wiley made his 7DAYS EuroCup debut with Gran Canaria last season, averaging 10.6 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.0 steals in seven regular season appearances. Later in the season with Zaragoza he posted 13.6 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in the Basketball Champions League, while finishing the Spanish League with 10.2 points and 3.8 rebounds in 25 appearances. Prior to last season, Wiley spent two seasons in the EuroLeague with Gran Canaria and Panathinaikos OPAP Athens and has averaged 6.4 points and 2.0 rebounds in those games. Earlier in his career, Wiley has also played for Adelaide of Australia, Brooklyn in the NBA, Long Island in the D-League and MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg in Germany. He finished his college basketball career at Eastern Washington University as the 2017 Big Sky Conference Player of the Year.
