Cedevita inks scoring guard Pullen
For Pullen (1.83 meters, 31 years old) this will be a third stint with Cedevita, although the first two came with Cedevita Zagreb, which was before the club merged with Olimpija and moved to Ljubljana. Pullen is coming off a season plagued with injuries, but in 12 EuroCup games with Mornar Bar he averaged 17.7 points on 42.5% three-point shooting, along with 2.9 assists and 2.0 rebounds. He also posted 16.0 points in the Adriatic League action. That was his second season with Mornar and fifth in the EuroCup, where he has 49 career appearances in which he averaged 13.8 points, 2.8 assists and 1.0 steals. During his career, Pullen has also played for FC Barcelona and Baloncesto Sevilla of Spain; Khimki Moscow Region in Russia, Enel Basket Brindisi, Angelico Biella and Virtus Bologna of Italy, Hapoel Jerusalem of Israel, Ayfon in Turkey, and had brief stints with Philadelphia in NBA and Delaware in G-League. He helped Barcelona reach the EuroLeague Final Four and win the Spanish League title in 2014. Pullen also set a Spanish League record for most three-point shots made in a game with 12 against CB Valladolid. Pullen first rose to prominence as a college star at Kansas State University, where he graduated as the Wildcats’ career leader in scoring (2,132 points), three-pointers made (299) and steals (210). He has also been a member of the Georgian national team.
