On Tuesday night, Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana announced big man Jackie Carmichael for the next season.

Carmichael (2.06 meters, 31 years old) arrives from Igokea of Bosnia, where he averaged 8.4 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 24 ABA League games. In that competition, Carmichael led the team to the semifinals. Carmichael made his European debut in 2013 with Bilbao of Spain and has played in several teams since then in Israel, Russia, Turkey or France. During all those years he got to appear in three editions of the 7DAYS EuroCup. His best season was in 2015-16 with Banvit Bandirma, as he averaged 6.1 points in 13 games, reaching the eighthfinals. He has played a total 23 EuroCup games and last played with UNICS Kazan in 2018-19.
