Gran Canaria added depth and experience to its backcourt signing a one-year contract with point guard Chris Kramer, the club announced Wednesday.

Kramer (1.91 meters, 33 years old) spent last season with Hapoel Jerusalem in Israel where he averaged 8.8 points, 3.9 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 1.9 steals in Israeli League action, and also posted 10.8 points, 4.5 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 2.2 steals in Basketball Champions League games. Kramer is a veteran of five 7DAYS EuroCup seasons, the first three with EWE Baskets Oldenburg from Germany, and then two with Rytas Vilnius. Over 57 games, Kramer has averaged 8.7 points, 4.8 assists and 1.5 steals. He then went to make his Turkish Airlines EuroLeague debut in the 2019-20 campaign in Khimki Moscow Region uniform.
