Herbalife Gran Canaria brought back a familiar face to the club, none other than versatile forward Nicolas Brussino, who signed a two-year deal with the 7DAYS EuroCup powerhouse on Thursday.
Gran Canaria, Brussino agree again
Brussino (2.02 meters, 28 years old) arrives from Casademont Zaragoza, where he averaged 11.0 points and 3.6 rebounds in 36 Spanish League games this season, hitting 42.7% of his three-point shots. It is his second stint with Gran Canaria, as he already played for his current team in the 2017-18 season, averaging 4.0 points in 7 EuroCup games. Brussino started his career in his native Argentina, playing for San Martin Marcos Juarez, Regatas Corrientes and Peñarol Mar del Plata. He also played for Dallas and Atlanta of the NBA, Texas and Erie Bay of the G League, and Iberostar Tenerife of Spain. Brussino is also a regular member of the Argentinean national team, helping it win a silver medal at the 2019 World Cup. He won a gold medal with Argentina at the 2019 Panamerican Games and consecutive silver medals at the FIBA America Championships in 2015 and 2017.
