Promitheas Patras added depth to its backcourt by inking guard Abdul Gaddy, the club announced Friday.

Gaddy (1.93 meters, 29 years old) arrives from Bnei Hertzeliya, where he averaged 8.8 points and 5.6 assists in 19 Israeli League games last season. He started the 2020-21 campaign with Peristeri GS Athens, averaging 7.4 points and 3.8 assists in 5 Greek League games before joining Hertzeliya. He started his professional career with Maine of the G League and also played for Fortitudo Bologna and Virtus Segafredo Bologna of Italy, VEF Riga of Latvia, s.Oliver Wuerzburg of Germany and Oklahoma City also of the G League. Gaddy helped VEF win the Latvian League title in 2017 and has been a member of the USA U18 national team which got the gold medal at the 2010 FIBA Americas Championship. He is set to make his 7DAYS EuroCup debut with Promitheas next season.
