Dolomiti Energia Trento announced on Friday the signing of shooting guard Wesley Saunders for the coming season

Trento tabs swingman Saunders

Saunders (1.96 meters, 28 years old) remains in Italy after finishing last season with Fortitudo Bologna. He averaged 13.3 points and 3.9 rebounds in 14 games with Fortitudo. Saunders started the 2020-21 season with AS Monaco an d appeared in four games in the 7DAYS EuroCup before they parted ways. Saunders played two seasons in Italy with Vanoli Basket Cremona from 2018 to 2020. He also played college basketball at Harvard University and for Westchester, Austin and Windy City on the D-League. Saunders's first stop in Europe was with Kataja of Finland.
