FC Bayern Munich improved its backcourt by inking shooting guard Andreas Obst to a two-year deal, the club announced Tuesday. Obst (1.91 meters, 24 years old) arrives from ratiopharm Ulm, where he averaged 11.0 points on 51.1% three-point shooting and 2.2 assists in 10 7DAYS EuroCup games last season. He started his career with USV Halle and also played for TSV Breitenguessbach, Regnitztal Baskets, Brose Baskets Bamberg, Giessen 46ers and BiG Oettinger Rockets of Germany, as well as for Monbus Obradoiro of Spain. Obst helped Bamberg win the German League title in 2015. He has also been a member of the German national team.
