After a one-year separation, Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv and center Jake Cohen are getting back together again on a two-year contract for what will be their third stint together. Cohen (2.10 meters, 31 years old) arrives from Obradorio of the Spanish League, with whom he averaged 8.2 points and 3.8 rebounds in 21:39 minutes per game last season. Prior to that, Cohen spent five of the previous seven years, between 2013 and 2020, with Maccabi. In that time, he appeared in 87 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games with an average of 3.0 points and 1.4 rebounds, with highs of 5.4 points and 2.0 rebounds in 2019-20. In between, Cohen played in 2015-16 with Aris Thessaloniki, putting up 6.8 points and 3.2 rebounds in 16 7DAYS EuroCup games, and in 2016-17 with another Israeli club, Maccabi Ashdod.
"I am thrilled to be back home with my yellow family," Cohen said. "It is an honor to play once again for Maccabi."
