AS Monaco penned a deal with veteran big man Brock Motum for the 2021-22 season, the club announced Friday. Motum (2.08 meters, 30 years old) returns to the EuroLeague after playing five straight seasons in Europe's premier competition between 2015 and 2020 with three different clubs: Zalgiris Kaunas, Anadolu Efes Istanbul and Valencia Basket. He averaged 7.9 points on 41.3% three-point shooting in 134 EuroLeague games in that time. Motum made his professional debut with Virtus Bologna in 2013 and played one season with Adelaide in his native Australia before joining Zalgiris. He has also won national championships and cups in both Lithuania and Turkey. Motum is a long-time member of the Australian national team, too, and has played for the Boomers at both the Olympics and the World Cup.
