Panathinaikos OPAP Athens reached an agreement with shooting guard Nemanja Nedovic to keep working together until the end of the 2022-23 season, the club announced Monday. Nedovic (1.91 meters, 30 years old) was the fifth-best scorer in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague last season, averaging 16.0 points in 25 games. He also averaged 3.7 assists, 4.6 fouls drawn and a PIR of 14.9. Nedovic helped Panathinaikos win the Greek double - league and cup titles - in 2021. He joined the Greens from AX Armani Exchange Milan where he averaged 7.9 points and 1.7 assists in 17 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games in the 2019-20 season, his second with the Italian powerhouse. Before that, Nedovic spent the previous three seasons with Unicaja Malaga, where he developed into a star, becoming one of the most dangerous scorers on the continent. Nedovic was third in the EuroLeague in scoring in the 2017-18 season with 16.8 points per game. He also ranked 10th in the competition with 4.8 assists. During his time with Unicaja, which he joined in 2015, Nedovic helped the team win the 2017 7DAYS EuroCup. He is a veteran of 119 EuroLeague games and has career averages of 11.9 points and 3.0 assists.

Nedovic started his professional career with Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade in his native Serbia and made his debut with the first team at 17 years of age. Nedovic moved to Lietuvos Rytas Vilnius in 2012 and made his EuroLeague debut that season. He spent one year playing between Golden State in the NBA and the G-League team Santa Cruz before returning to Europe and joining Valencia Basket for the 2014-15 campaign. Nedovic is also a regular on the Serbian national team, which he helped win a silver medal at 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
